I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 with BBA in Petroleum Land Management and immediately went to work in the real estate business in 1985 and have been working in sales and management ever since. I have specialized in Investment, REO sales and Property Management over the course of my career. My most honored professional achievements were first being inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and subsequently being presented with the prestigious RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award.

I have been in real estate brokerage management for 4 years and take great pride for working with the most knowledgeable and best equipped associates in the industry. My associates benefit from my extensive transactional experience & overall knowledge of the industry. My training philosophy is to be prepared ahead of time for anything that comes your way. In today’s complex real estate transaction just about anything can happen and generally does! You’re never in business by yourself at RE/MAX First.

I have been active in both the OKCMAR and OAR trade associations serving on the Board of Directors and chairing committees of both, as well as serving as past Secretary Treasurer of OKCMAR. I currently serve on the MLSOK Board of Directors.

I have been happily married since 1986 and am extremely proud of my wife, teacher and volunteer Peggy Whittington. We have 4 children ranging from 21-24 that keep Peggy and me constantly on the move. We enjoy travelling, spending weekends at the lake and following all OU sports - especially football and basketball.
