Episode 2: What kind of person succeeds in real estate?
Having owned a brokerage for 33 years, I’ve helped people from every profession you can possibly imagine build a profitable real estate business. Here’s a short list of Realtors who have successfully transitioned from other careers: Members and spouses in the military, teachers, business owners, accountants, ministers, attorneys, stay-at-home parents, sales professionals, oil & gas professionals, hairdressers, college graduates, athletes, coaches, and opera singers, to name a few!
What do they all have in common? A desire to be rewarded for one’s own performance. An aspiration to find one’s purpose in helping people with an important life decision, backed up by a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, a personal and financial commitment to staying the course, and the discipline to generate leads for oneself.
Does this sound like you? If you already own some or all of these characteristics and crave the freedom and unlimited income a real estate business can provide, explore further to see if this great career is a fit for you.
